Bridget's Science Project

Bridget built a Rube Goldberg Machine for her Science class a few days ago and I got to help. It was really quite challenging to do. It sure was fun when it all came together. Here is the final video that shows the process and the execution. It's a short video but it worked!

Halloween V

So, here it is Halloween V! We sure had a lot of fun this Halloween season. We hope you enjoy the movie. Orm really enjoyed her first Halloween. The second song in the video was actually an audio clip performed by Orm and her choir at her hiqh school. Bridget really enjoyed and participated in everything this year. Marlee was classic Marlee. Make sure you watch the other 4 Halloween videos again.

A Full Halloween Season

Wow! It has been such a full Halloween Season already and the big day hasn't even hit yet. We have been having a lot of fun and taking loads of pictures. I have been preparing for the release of our annual holiday movie "Halloween V". It should be worth seeing. The movie editing technology keeps getting cooler and cooler. Plus, I have three delightful girls to focus on. Here is a quick glimpse of last nights pumpkin carving efforts. Stay tuned.

Bloody Pirates!

We went to the Tybee Island Pirate Festival this year and we were really glad we did.  It was really well done.  We got our picture taken with some of the pirates.  They told the girls to look mean!  Orm and Bridget couldn't stop smiling though.  Marlee, however, followed the instructions exactly.

This is our family's first alligator

This afternoon we looked out the front window to see our neighbors huddled outside looking at something. Soon they worked their way into our yard looking at something. Underneath one of our front yard bushes was this 2 year old alligator. This is the first one we have seen. I am feeling so lucky that this one happened by Sgroiland! Orm and Bridget seemed a bit skeptical. Well, it didn't take long for the "alligator guy" to come and catch him. I bet Marlee will be disappointed to have missed the photo opp!

Fashion on Girl's Night Out

On Thursday night the girls went downtown to participate in the SCAD Fashion celebration. It was a great girls night out! The girls got make-overs and got to try on many fashions. What fun!

It always amazes me how much teen-agers can eat.

Friends and Fun on Labor Day Weekend

What a great weekend! Our friends Bob, Tracy, and Olivia came to town. Marlee and Olivia played dress-up and put on several shows for us. We went to the downtown historic district and went to shops and restaurants. As you can see we went to the candy store. Orm and Bridget worked hard on eating a chocolate candy apple. On Sunday night we had a big meal of wonderful Thai food and then we went to the beach for a big fire works display. We all had such a wonderful time. More pictures to come.

A fantastic first school week

What a fantastic first week of school! I think the first day was overwhelming for all three of the girls. They all went to bed earlier on Monday evening. By Wednesday, they were starting to get into the swing of it. Orm said she felt like she was in a movie at the high school as she has watched many American High School movies.   And now, its the weekend. Time to relax, kick back, and watch Saturday morning cartoons. Orm and Marlee look relaxed don't they? Bridget is not even up yet! It should be a fun holiday weekend. No school on Monday for Labor Day! Stay tuned for more pics!
